R32, also known as Difluoromethane is an organic compound with the chemical formula CH2F2. It is a colorless gas and is commonly used as a refrigerant and drying agent. Difluoromethane is a coolant with zero ozone depletion potential. Difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane can form a azeotropic mixture (referred to as R-410A), which is used as a substitute for chlorofluorocarbons (also known as Freon) in new coolant systems, mainly replacing HCFC-22 as a composite medium to low temperature mixed refrigerant. Although it has a zero ozone depletion potential, it has a high global warming potential, based on every 100 years, with a potential 550 times that of carbon dioxide.

Leakage emergency response
Cut off the ignition source. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and general fire protective clothing. Stop the leak while ensuring safety. Spray mist can reduce evaporation. Mix and absorb with sand or other non combustible adsorbents. Then transported to an open area for burial, evaporation, or incineration. If there is a large amount of leakage, it should be collected, transferred, recycled, or disposed of harmlessly by using a dike for containment.
Protective measures
Respiratory protection: When the concentration in the air is high, a gas mask should be worn. When rescuing or evacuating in an emergency, it is recommended to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Eye protection: Wear chemical safety goggles.
Body protection: Wear anti-static work clothes.
Hand protection: Wear protective gloves.
Other: Smoking is strictly prohibited at the workplace. Avoid long-term repeated contact.
First aid measures
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse thoroughly with soap and water.
Eye contact: Immediately open the upper and lower eyelids and rinse with flowing water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove from the site to a place with fresh air. Give oxygen for breathing difficulties. When breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: If swallowed by mistake, rinse mouth with water, drink sufficient warm water, induce vomiting, and seek medical attention immediately.
